The UK’s biggest touring outdoor cinema company, Adventure Cinema, is proud to announce Film & Food Fest, a brand new touring, socially spacious festival for Summer 2021 and we can't wait to come to Leicester!
 

Featuring four days of outdoor cinema with classic movies and recent releases, stand up comedy from some of the UK’s best-loved comedians, local street food and specially curated short films from regional film makers.
 

Adult tickets start at £16.50 (plus booking fee). For afternoon showings, children under 12 years can go half-price!

🚢The park is easily accessible from the city centre with access from St Margaret’s Way, Abbey Park Road and a bridge from Charter Street over the Grand Union Canal.
 
🚌 Buses run regularly from Leicester City centre.  
 
🚲 The park forms part of the central section of the riverside walk and cycle route 6.
 
πŸš— We strongly advise using public transport. If this isn't possible there are large pay and display car parks on Abbey Park Road and St. Margaret’s Pastures but there is no parking available on-site.

Sean McLoughlin is an acclaimed stand-up comedian, described as “The best comedian you haven’t heard of” by Time Out and “an impassioned and uniquely brilliant talent” by The List. He has performed several UK tours and provided tour support for Ricky Gervais, Bill Burr, Doug Stanhope and Katherine Ryan.  
 
Sean has also been seen on After Life (Netflix), Live at The Comedy Store (Comedy Central) and Brexit Stage Left (Viceland).

Josh Jones (Saturday & Sunday)

 


Born and bred in Manchester, Josh Jones is fast becoming one of the best young acts on the circuit. In just three short years Josh has earned a nomination for the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year, been named as one of Chortle’s Ones to Watch in 2019 and become a regular at some of the biggest comedy clubs in the country. 
 
Having already made appearances on 8 Out of 10 Cats and Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club, Josh is definitely a star in the making!

Thursday evenings at Film & Food Fest will feature a special showcase of short movies from some of the region's finest independent filmmakers. Highlighting the work of local creatives, giving their films a major platform and giving audiences an exclusive chance to see some fantastic new cinema! 
 
Spend your Thursday night watching some fantastic short films, supporting local filmmakers and enjoying some delicious food and drink. We will be donating £2 from every ticket sold to support the local film organisations within your city.
