Eshaan Akbar (Friday)

Eshaan Akbar is a regular voice on BBC Asian Network where he hosts a weekly show on Saturday as well as filling in frequently on the Breakfast and Drivetime shows. He has also appeared on shows such as Mock the Week, QI, The Now Show and Frankie Boyle’s New World Order.
Previously of Barclays and Merton Council, Eshaan holds a Masters in Global Governance and Public Policy and an undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance and Management, and has written articles for The Guardian, The Times and The Huffington Post. He is also a former Bollywood dance choreographer. Is there anything he can’t do? Yes. He can’t tie balloons once he’s blown them up. Which made his job as a children’s entertainer very short-lived.
"A fine comic entertainer, an intelligent maker of points and a wealth of fascinating facts” - The Scotsman

Ivo Graham (Saturday & Sunday)

Apologetic Eton and Oxford alumnus Ivo started stand-up in 2009 at the age of 18 and eight months and later became the youngest ever winner of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny award for new acts at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Since graduating three years later he has become a regular fixture in the clubs and theatres of the UK circuit, with a gauche charm and crafty, self-aware wit which has proved a hit with audiences of all ages, and led to appearances on TV and radio shows including Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week and Live From The BBC.
"One of the best young comedians around” Time Out

Street Food

A wide range of vendors will be curated by Street Food Warehouse - here's an idea of what to expect!

Thursday nights are all about short film

Thursday evenings at Film & Food Fest will feature a special showcase of short movies from some of the region's finest independent filmmakers. Highlighting the work of local creatives, giving their films a major platform and giving audiences an exclusive chance to see some fantastic new cinema!
The charity we are supporting by donating £2 from every ticket sold on Thursday night in Manchester is HOME. As a charity, HOME strives to engage communities, commission new, emerging artists and provide a cultural offering to the people of Greater Manchester.
